Hospital Furniture

Hospital furniture takes more abuse than most cleanroom equipment: it is moved constantly, cleaned aggressively and loaded unevenly. These are built heavier at the joints for that reason, with castors sized for loaded travel over thresholds.

Kitchen equipment is judged on how it behaves at the end of a long service, not at installation. Heavier gauge tops, drained surfaces and burners that can be lifted out for cleaning matter more than the specification sheet.

Material Handling Equipment

Handling equipment earns its place when the load is awkward rather than heavy. Drum tilters and scissor lifts here are specified around the container being moved and the height it has to reach, because that is what determines whether the job gets done with the equipment or without it.
